Watering

How often and how much you water depends on the time of year and amount of plants in your garden. Too little water weakens the plants’ growth and too much encourages plagues and rot.

One way to know when to water is to see if the soil is very dry or whether the plants are withering.

You can water by hand two or three times a week or choose one of the many automatic watering systems that can be found on the market. This solution means less work and guarantees the plants are watered regularly and accurately.

You should also bear in mind that our garden has a drainage system with holes in the bottom of the trays as excess watering will cause them to drip.

We recommend you place pieces of cardboard at the bottom and sides of the trays. This way we can save water by keeping the soil moist for longer.
